Hello R.S,
I had to read a page and three-quarters of your letter before I found out what the knocking noise that came out of it when I opened it was all about.
It was still the knocking of your knees that you broadcast over CKWX. The radio must be hard up for broadcasts these days. Are all their regular entertainers on strike? All kidding aside that was a pretty good show Buck. You’ll be putting Jack Benny out of a job soon. All you have to do is learn to play the bee. See and pay Rochester a bit better eh?
Guess you’re exams kinda went for a burton after that eh? But what the hurry, you can write them again next year.
Was up at ‘Herman’ Goring’s house last night. His wife cooked up a doozy supper too. Not a bad drop I’d say off hand.
Jack the Mac has gone on 2 weeks sick leave after getting out of the hospital. Some guys get all the luck. Maybe I’ll be able to scrounge a day off after my annual jab in the arm
Well, keep off the radio after this. You’ll be knocking the humidor off the first thing you know.
Cheerio
Sandy
