Letter
Back in Holland.
July 3, 1945
Dear Mom,
Back again, and gradually getting used to the unexciting life again. I received a parcel from Joyce, and twenty letters, two of them being from you. So that was quite a reception, eh! I'll be busy writing for awhi1e, won't I?
I told you about meeting Betty Borthwick. She is such a sweet girl. She is very lovely, and she's quite short, only about five feet tall. I gave her the handkerchiefs, which she thought were very nice. If you can think of something that I can give her as a gift, 1et me know, and I'll send home for it.
