Mont Joli, P. Q.

August 25, 1944

Dear Mom,
I'm glad you arrived in I.H. o.k Yes, I bet it's very quiet there, but I wouldn't mind being with you for awhile. I sure would like to have a dish of those cranbarries- stewed in sugar, and then covered with cream.

I made a plastic ring for Gloria, and a heart for Aunt Lola, and sent it to her. For Joyce I made a necklace of two small hearts, and a pendant, on a gold chain. Inside the pendant there is an Air Force crest. I also have your bracelet almost finished, and I have Joyce's mother's locket almost ready.

I'll be on my way to St. Thomas in a few days, arriving there Tuesday evening.

Love, Lewis.
