Dear Mrs Addison

Just a line or two to let you know that your Christmas parcel has arrived safely. I have not had a proper place to write for some time now hence the delay in writing. I just want you to know that I appreciate very much the time and trouble you have went to on my behalf. I might just mention that it is very cold over here and the sweater is nice and warm. We all hope to finish Jerry this year and spend our next Christmas at home. That will be a real treat.
