Dear Mrs. Addison.

Just a note to thank you and you committee for sending such a nice remembrance of many great days at Humewood to me at Christmas time.

Its great to be backed up with such spirit at home. We must certainly fight to keep such a spirit alive after the war; if we do we will have taken a great step toward building a country which can show the world by example, the only way to a sound & lasting peace.
