Just a few hurried lines to let you know that I have received your lovely parcel & to thank you very much for it. Every thing in it was swell.

Doing my job over here I have ran across quite a few of the old boys of the district that attended Humewood school, & we all wished that we could be back there right now.

Things are going fine & dandy here with all the boys. The weather lately has not been very much in our favour, l but we all make the best of it.
