June 20 - Middleton's mounted force passed through this a.m. on way back to Fort Pitt. We got orders to follow tomorrow. Another mounted force out after Big Bear from Gen. Strange's column. This old Chief Big Bear is a wily cuss. Will no one be able to catch him?
