7th
Turned horses out to pasture in the morning. J. McDougall, Rose & I herded them. Went on parade in the afternoon. Saw 2 or 3 Boer scouts in the distance. The wounded men doing well. Saw Everton of the E. Surreys who used to be in Winnipeg.
