Morris & I orderlies. Very warm. Catholic, English and Presbyterian Service on board. Cool east wind blowing. Regular Trade wind. See lots of flying fish. Another kind of fish called the Portuguese Man of War. Saw several large fish in the distance. Had a long talk with Serg't. Heron in the forecastle. North Star very low. Great show for studying character. Highlanders wear the kilts to church. Tartan kilt, red coat. White spats. Serg't. Heron's mother a McIntyre from Glenlyon. Her sister married a Stewart there.
