Lieut A.E. Brock
Dear Sir
just a few lines thanking you for your nice letter regarding the death of our Son Cpl Ray Angone, your letter Mr Brock was a sourse of great comfort to us, just by letting us know actually the circumstances under which Roy was killed, and under the circumstances I have the feeling that everything possible was done for him. I myself am a veteran of the last war, and reasise fully the circumstances, but Mother is different; she felt much better after getting your letter, needless to say this has been a terrible blow to us, but I have the satisfaction of knowing that Roy felt it his duty to go overseas, and he gave his all for what he thought was right, thanking you again Mr. Brock and wishing you all that is good
I remain sincerely
William G Angove
