Major G.S. Andrews,
30 Canadian Air Survey Liaison Section, R.C.E.,
Canadian Army, Overseas.
Dear Major Andrews,
It was very kind of you to send me a copy of a letter which you have been good enough to write to Mrs. H W. Young, acknowledging the gift of cigarettes which we made to you a few days ago, when you called at British Columbia House.
You have written a very pleasing letter, and may I thank you for your very flattering remarks about us at B.C. House.
It has always been a pleasure to have seen you in the building from time to time, and may I whisper that I actually saw you at luncheon today, but as you were carrying on what appeared to be a most interesting conversation with a young lady sitting on your left hand side, I thought I should be more diplomatic if I let well alone.
With kindest personal regards,
Yours sincerely,
(W.A. McAdam)
