Dear Folks-

Havn't much news as usual. Have moved again this time for a weeks duration. I'm taking a course in wireless. Are quarters are good but cold. If someone would bring a Canadian stove over here I think it would revolutionize the heating system of Great Britain. You sit around a fire place and watch the heat going up the chimney. It's a wonderful sight but not very practical.

We brought the new year in quiet ordinarlly., in camp. George is on a course and he came down for New Years Day. We had a nice dinner and saw a show at Guilford.

Rec'd your home makers parcel on the 27 of Dec it was good especially the cake. Its impossible to get fruits to put in cakes here and they cakes are quiet dry as a result. I havn't found a camera that will take the film but likely will sometime.

Had my photo taken last Friday its some new fad here, you have 48 poses taken abut one inch square for around $1 and any one you like enlarged for $1.25., so if on of the works turn out I'll have some sent back. The Schwarz twins from Strassbourgh had theirs taken. They are so much alike they have a hard time telling their pictures apart.

Had a letter from Clive in which he gave me the low-down and his establishment. There has been some flu around but I've never had it as yet. It seems funny to be abel to get $4 a prive for turkeys when you couldn't give them away a couple of years ago. I think they are paying around 5 guinies for turkeys here its about $25. I'd look at $25 a long time before sinking in a dead turkey but its tradition. Heard from Edna last Wed.

Will close now hope things aren't to cold, its much like Oct here without much rain or snow. I'll have to see what I can do for Lawarence next time I go to London.

Yours Truly
Harvey B
