Dear Mom and Dad,

Stan managed to come up to London the day I arrived here so we have been spending our time together. Mrs. Sayers has been marvelous as usual! Stan and I stayed here after the show last night as Stan is going back today. ‘The Show' we saw was marvelous and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Rickard Tauber conducted and directed the whole thing and it bore ‘all hallmarks' of his ceaseless labour! Ernestina - who you may remember me having mentioned before, was in the ballet and after the show was over, we all went around backstage to see her. Stan went home with Tina and her girlfriend Iris as he has already told you. I'm glad that he enjoyed it because I did, so did Mrs. Sayers and Paddy - the girl I was with. She is WD. from our station and a very charming person. I guess I've reached the end of ‘my tether'; so love to all as always,

Jim
