Dear Mom-

I received the package of fags you sent me lately & am very grateful for them.

Fan sent me a letter with the wars & justices the army is ascending on his poor old head. Made good reading also as it is so near the truth.

You've probably heard of these new planes the [?] are sending over. We've seen several of them harmlessly in the air, the first day they were over, by fire of the ack-ack guns. I have several pieces of one here I was going to [?] you, but iti is nothing but junk & of no soveigner value at all.

Well I'm stuck for something to write so will close with lots of love to all.
