My dearest Bill:

Greetings. Wonderful day isn't it? I think Spring will soon be here. I hope so.

Listen you. I haven't had any letters from you for what seems ages, and I'm starting to get worried.

Nothing new has happened since I wrote you last, except Kaye & I had our tea cups read last night. I certainly don't believe anything they say but its fun for a change. She told me lots of things about the initial "H" can you imagine.

Gee now that I've started I don't know what to say.

How many more "ops" do you have to do? It can't be many now. ( I hope.)

I think I call this the ‘finis' for now because there is something wrong with our furnace and I'm freezing. Give my regards to all the fellows & wish them lots of luck and tell Len I said he's to bring you home soon.

All my love, Hilda.
