Dear Mother:

I have had gifts dispatched home from a foreign port. Consists of purse and gloves for you, pullover for Ronny, scarf for Dad, tie and socks for Bob, and jacket and scarf for Jean.

I had to leave hurriedly so wasn't able to arrange mailing, but hope they will manage all right.
