I received your letter of Jan 24 to-day and was ever so glad to hear from you
I am so glad dear to hear you got your ring imagine my little sister getting married I always just look on you as my little sister but you have grown into a young lady now I just can’t seem to realize it its one year a nearly nine months since I saw you last gosh that is a awful long time kid I do hope it wont be that long again I regret ever so much that I will not be able to be at your wedding I would like to so much. Those pictures mother sent of you and Bob certainly and Bob is such a nice looking fellow and I can see I am going to like him very much and I do hope you two are every so happy Tell Bob he is mighty lucky to get a girl like you I wish him all the success in the world and hope he wont have to come overseas.
I will try and send you a wedding present although I am afraid it wont be very much but I will do the best I can Don’t you worry dear about not writing me you must be pretty busy and anyhow I have falling down in my writting and I do hope you will forgive me
I am just dying to see little Carol Ann she must be so sweet the last picture I had from Cis she certainly look quite but I guess there will come a day when I can see her.
Mother told me about Francis getting married but I cant imagine Francis living away up north she just isent the type.
Well my little sweet I guess I will have to close now but will try to write again seen take care of your self and help mother all you can
