Dear Mir.,
I did not think two weeks ago, that I would be here to-day, but here I am, and here I will be for a few more weeks, but Oh! I do hope I will be settled “over there” by Christmas Day. This blessed uncertainty is rotten and I would like to spend my second Christmas at the front. If I go as I rather expect to , I will likely be under the Imperials, instead of the Canadians, but of course will continue to draw the Canadian pay etc. I am not sure of this, but it looks that way just now.
Bobbie came down to see me for the weekend so I am rather busy, afternoons and evenings, but she will be going back at six o’clock to-night. I have to meet another kid at seven tho, so will be rather tired to-morrow, probably.
Capt Brock has landed back at last, but is not on duty yet. He surely had one grand holiday, a good three months, but they surely hate to come back.
I have certainly put out some line of photos, the last while back, and will try to send home a full set, they can send or take them down sometime or you can see them when you are home. I may mail them to you tho, then you can forward them to Nerte and she can send them on home. That would be better.
There is nothing new around here, no new staff in lately, but I have a patient on my work, and I have practically nothing to do, just see that the work is kept up to date and do whatever printing is necessary. Well Honey, I had a field card from Happy, this morning, and must answer it.
Your very loving brother,
Worth.
