Dear Bi.

Just rec your letter I cannot make out why you do not get word nor why mine go back as I am in the 2nd Batt never in the 10^th I have reported it. I am just back from a 5 days in Ireland I tell you after 4 month roar it seemed unnaturally quiet but I enjoyed it very much. Well I have not found that French girl yet but look out I might capture one Ha-Ha. now be quiet will yez. Nothing new here guns roaring but things quiet we are bringing in a few prisoners but not many only small groups.

The Division is in rest so I am having a fine time. Address Lieut as I have given up the Coy to a senior who has come out. Don't think I will try for those vegetable they might charge too much
