My Dear Olive.

I have always been very pleased to get your nice long letters. I wont get very many more now as I am coming home soon. I’m going to my old home first to see Grandma and say good bye to her and to all your Uncles and Auntes at Chicksands and then I have to get on the big steamer that will take us over the ocean and won’t I be glad to see my little girl Olive? You bet.

Your loving Daddy.
