Letter

Feby. 22.1918

To-
Miss West, Graduates and Nurses in Training.

Miss Lena A. Davis, formerly Superintendent of our Training School passed away this morning.  She contracted malignant malaria in Greece while in the service of our Country. Her recent illness, Blackwater Fever, being a sequel of that disease.

Those of you that have been Miss Davis’ pupils will remember her for the high ideals which she held for her girls, both in their personal life, and in the standard of work done by them. She lived the parts that she advocated.

Classes will be suspended until Monday next.
