Have stopped in a rest camp here for a night and a day. Will go on ship this afternoon. Am feeling fine. Met Irwin Willis going to reinforce Princess Pats. Rancliffe is not with us, nor is Jack Stanton or Valiant. This is the prettiest place I’ve seen in England.

Charlie.
