I only hope our Russian friends catch the Nazi leaders first. If this happens, I feel justice will be handed out in a manner that even a Nazi can understand. Apart from the bombs, the war is going very well, isn’t it? I still feel confident that our Nazi friends will be finished before the snow flies, then perhaps I can return to our loved ones in England and in Canada. How terribly tired I am of all this. I still realize that my job is still unfinished but I am hungry for all those privileges that the civilians take for granted. Just to think that I, a boy who had never been away from home, haven’t seen my family for the best part of five years. ------------
