Dear Uncle Noble -

In writing the “Imperial War Graves Commission” some time ago about Hal's grave, I made enquiry, as I always do, about Hugh and this time asked what they intended doing about head stones for the “missing” soldiers. And I have just received their reply

They write about all three of our dear boys and make suggestions about marking the graves.

I wonder if you could come up soon & read the letters & see what you would like done about it.

Isnt it time you came up anyway! You are quite a stranger these days, but I hope you have been well and escaped having the “Flu” or any other of the prevalent diseases.

Your loving niece
