Dear, Ma, Pa and Ruth.
I received your letter today. The weather has been fine here today. It seems that now we get paid either next Tuesday or Wednesday. The chocolates you sent came today. There were two boxes and they sure are swell chocolates. About one dozen of us fellows are back up here working at Stadacona I, again. There is quite a bit of work here. Another fellow and myself are working fixing up a house inside a little for some Navy fellows to move into. It is just alongside Stadacona so we just walk over and back. I went to the show here tonight, It was a good picture. The news in the paper sure looks good these days. Art was saying in his letter that he is seeing about his leave in a couple weeks. I hope he gets it. There isn’t much to see downtown here. I haven’t been down this week. I think I will go downtown tomorrow evening to the shows. I am OK. I hope Ma, Pa and Ruth that you are all OK. Well that is about all for today. I will write again tomorrow.
Love to all,
Rubert
