Dear Ma, Pa and Ruth.
I am receiving your letters from Vancouver now. I also received some newspapers. The bow of choclates that you sent me has not arrived yet. They should be here any day now. I went to the show here at Stadacona tonight. It started at six o’clock. I am still down at the shipyard here. I got another letter from Art yesterday. The weather is still fine here. It rained here one night but cleared up in the day. Most mornings it is a little foggy on the water. I went to a show downtown last night. The show at Stadacona here charges every second night. Halifax sure doesn’t got much of a downtown district. Eatons’ has a branch store here. The stores are open until nine o’clock of Fridays. On weekdays they close at six except those like Eatons’ which close at twelve. Well I guess that is about all for today. I hope Ma, Pa, and Ruth that you are all O.K. I will write again tomorrow.
Love to all,
Rubert.
