Dearest Dad, Mother, Bro & Sis & Duke.

Just received your most welcome letter Dad and sure pleased to hear from you. Yes Dad, I guess we can wait for a while there was a phone call here today and it was the Orderly Room and they said it was sent to Canada for further investigation so that help's it lets us know that there working on it. By the way Dad don't worry about me signing my name to anything I don't know about I've been in this racket a little too long to do anything like that. I'm just as wise to that as they are. The only thing I sing my name these days's is for Pay and the back of my letter's that's enough.

Well the weather is really swell here today nice and cool all day. Thanks' for the note Blanche it was sure swell Dad tell's me that you have a real nice little son there - Denis Joseph. I sure hope to get to see him soon and may God bless the little one and keep him safe in his care. I do hope everybody is in the best of health and all happy back there. I received a swell letter from Helen S. today she's the only girl from home that has wrote to me all the time and sent me cigs. I really appreciate that to and I'm sure to let her know it when I get home.

Well must go now here's wishing the very best to every body to bad about Ernest, do hope he is better by now. From you Son and Bro who loves you all so very much.

Cheerio for now... Louis
