Dearest Laurie
I wrote to you last night be here goes [?] a letter today. I want to go to the free show at the Y.M.C.A. tomorrow night so won't have time to write tomorrow. The way I've been writing to everybody this last month you'd think Xmas was just around the corner. We always make fun of the boys about writing lots of letters just before Xmas just to they get plenty of parcels. It is too early yet to tease but it won't be long now.
There wasn't any mail in tonight but we didn't expect any as the mail is only brought around every other day. It is really going to be a bid day for us tomorrow if we get all the mail we expect to get. It is going to keep me busy answering letters but I sure won't mind that so much. I wrote to Mother last night so won't have to write to her for a few days. It is time I was writing to Joyce, Eddie and Enid and Claire again but we are in billets again next week so I'll be able to write a letter or two every night.
We went in to see a picture about sex hygiene this morning and it was something worth seeing. It helped to break the monotony of this place to, so it was a help. We will all be glad to get away from this even though it is only a week. I should really be doing a little studying on aircraft as I'll be giving some lectures again next week. Can you imagine me getting up in front of everybody and giving a lecture. It isn't near as hard as a person thinks and I found it was easy once I got going.
It is beginning to get a little dark around here so I'll have to call this good Sweetheart. I don't suppose I'll have time to write again tomorrow but I'll try if the mail comes in early. Tomorrow will most likely drag for us seeing as how we are all looking forward to a lot of mail. The canteen comes tomorrow quite an event here as it only comes one day a week. I'll have to borrow a shilling before it comes but that shouldn't be hard to do.
So long for now Sweetheart and take good care of yourself.
Lots of Love & Kisses
Ron
P.S. I Love You.
