Dear Mother & Dad:-

Am not leaving until Wed. at 330. Am wiring Gladys to-morrow to meet the train. We were vaccinated today but hasn't taken effect. You will soon begetting half my pay as I have just signed the papers. Wrote Bea just now & sent her a badge. I want you to tell Mrs. McFarlane that I am going to write Frank & try to put the army craze out of his head as its no job for a boy & I shouldn't be hear. Am very busy so must close in haste.

Your Loving Son

Roy.
