Dear Mother & All:-

Am just droping you a line between acts. In my last letter I said that I was going to the 27th Bat. France but as that draft is now cancelled, we are now expecting to go to the 78th but there is no definate address yet so my address will be the above from now on. I am still on draft & may go any time. They sure put us through the drill & I am a bit done up as I have been taking it easy so long. Have nothing much to say this time Mother as I haven't done anything since I last wrote. We are getting very wet & cold weather which is very peculiar for this country at this time of year. Hoping this finds all well.

Your Loving Son

Roy.
