My Dear Sis

I am beginning to wonder what has happened to the canadian mail as I have not had any for a long while. I recieved the blades and chocolate thanks very much they just came in time, I had my last one using, thought there would have been a letter inside but was disappointed. You will be pleased to know that Russell has got as far as England and is now at Woodbridge on fulough, I am sure he will be having a good time for they are very nice people and do all they can for us or rather they did for me, I am very glad he has got so far hope he makes home am expecting to hear from him every day. I am doing nicely here and can tell you in no hurry to get out. The food is poor but the work is not hard or long and it is a very nice town the best I have been billeted in. Last sunday the Hastings fair caught fire and burnt up so there are no concerts there now but there are lots of other places to go to. Well Sis how are you getting along these days, and when do you expect to get your holidays. I wish you would come over here for I know you would like it, lovely gardens and woods all over the place, boating on river and sea all you need is lots of money especially now everything is such a price that it is hard to get along at all. Well I have to quit as I am on back parade this afternoon and we fall in early hoping to hear from you soon

With Love
Your Bro
