So glad to hear from you yesterday; your letter of 23rd. August.

I wrote you on the 19th. From 1 A.D. where I was before coming here - I wrote several letters that day and having had no reply I presume they were destroyed probably, why, I cannot imagine.

Am quite busy and will write later at length - just going to breakfast - fine meals here.
