2nd
Left boat and marched out to Maitland Camp. Ladies of Cape Town gave us lunch on the Dock. Led P. 78. Last part of road. Treated to beer & cigars on the way to camp by the Captain. Pitched our tents at Maitland Camp Went into Cape Town in the evening on the train. Went to Music Hall. Took 3 drunk men home. Pretty near having trouble with them.
