Gunboat left us to do some scouting.

Monday Sep 6/15

No land in sight. Ship beginning to roll. First sign of sea sickness amongst men. Had physical drill this morning at 10 o'clock Cape Ray (S.W. Newfoundland) sighted this morning. Several ships seen during day.

Tuesday Sep 7/15

Gunboat has left us during night. Ship is rolling more. Cape Ray passes this morning. Several fishing boats and 1 freighter seen today. Had "Boat Drill" with life belts on this afternoon.
