My Dear Mamma

I hope you are not grieving yourself about me. Did you get the letters I wrote you before. Since I left home, I am all right and well am installed Hospital Steward and have as good a time as possible under the circumstances. How are you all at home. You must write soon and give me all the news. My address is D.M. Forbes, 111th Regt. N.Y. Voo, 2nd Army Corps, 1st Division 3rd Brigade, Washington D.C. With love to all I remain
