Dear Jessie:
Read your letter, was glad to hear the news from old Musq. Suppose you have seen Harry and art We has a tent inspection to-day as usual; there were only two of us the ten, while at first, 'we were seven' Munro is our fatique to-day.
How is everything in Musq. are you have a Div. anniversary for new-yrs? Hope you are. I think that is when we are getting off for, so hope there is something doing up there.
There is a case of Spinal Mngts, in B. company It is pretty serious I guess he is going to pull through. The case has been thoroughly looked after.
There is Sir Charles Tupper's funeral takes place tuesday I suppose you know. We have been practicing the slow march. I guess we are all going to be marched to the funeral.
I expect to get my check again to-morrow, they are going to pay I think, Hope so
Art applied for a position as signaler, and I see by the orders this morning he has gotten it; that means another to leave our tent I suppose I don't suppose he knows yet, as he is in Musq.
If Art had called at the Leo's office before he went home, he would have gotten his cap and belt.
I think Norman is going home next sunday If you watch for him you will see our pretty cap.
I suppose Vide has given you a great description of our my Mustash (is this spelled right) she began laughing as soon as she saw me. I was glad to see Mr.Bentley and Vide.
Did Ervin go home yesterday? Tell me when you write whether he went to [?] or not.
Has Alex Fisher come home? we saw him down here and he us they turned him down on act. of his eyesight.
In one of Sade's letter you corrected me in some spelling; that's right! do it every time. I like to he corrected (excuse writing) I think I have said enough.
Love to Father & all rest Spence
