My Dear Jessie:-

How is everything going over home; I haven't had any news from you for quite a while but hope to get a big bunch on of these days. I am going back to the Battalion tomorrow, or at least we are starting tomorrow. We expect to be on the road for two days. I have had a great time while at the school; I have been taking a machine gun course this last week; they have all kinds of games and sports here, a pretty good tennis court; I had quite a few nice games on it; no lady folk around here though, a game is not complete without the ladys in it! I suppose you spend most of your spare time on the court. How is Harold coming on with his car, no doubt he gives you quite a few drives in it. How did you all spend the 24th May? Did you have a picnic? Tomorrow is the King's birthday when I come to think of it, we will have a nice holiday, I don't think? Holidays will soon be here wont they; I dont suppose you worry yourself about them now do you? or have you started to school again. Is John moved up and settled yet? I hope to get some mail from them when I get up. I dont think I will get one from the little fellow this time, Ha! Ha! Well! there is as you know by this letter very little to write, will probably have more to say in the next letter after I recv'd yours. Hoping you are all O.K. I am as ever

Your Loving bro Spence
Love to Father and Gow.
