Dear Mother,
Arrived yesterday after a good trip, was not sick, altho boat very small. Fortunately there was not a high sea running.
Stationed at a large rest camp, a few miles from port of embarkation. Tents, but a fine camp and very dry. We will likely proceed further up in a very few days, and get settled in our new home.
Met a good many of the boys here, with whom I was working at Moore last year, was very glad to see them.
Will write more in a day or two, or when we are more settled. Nothing to do here but eat and sleep, and plenty of both. I was in bed before five P.M. last night, being pretty tired from moving. We travelled Tuesday night, & till 4.30 A.M. Wed. morning, spending the rest of the night in a rest camp in England. It is a camp I have told you about, I think, where several blocks of fine houses, have been surrounded by a high board fence, and taken over by the military.
Hope Dad is feeling better, and that the rest of you are O.K.
Lovingly,
Worth.
