My Dear wife and sweetheart

Received your letter of Nov 10th glad to get it also money order dont run yourself short but youll have to address it different now it will have to be Army P.O. London 75th Battln because I have been transfered as I told you in my last two letters. It certainly seemed a long time before I got that letter, as regarding the photos and parcels, I wrote you months ago about receiving them. O.K. I had to cut the photos down so I could put them in my paybook. got a letter from Bert the same day tell him Ill write to him again, that will be the third time Ive wrote to him and in his letter he did’nt mention receiving any. Well Kiddo Although Im in France Im not in the trenches, so dont worry about me I think the war will be over pretty soon anyhow and then everything will be jake. You said in your letter that it froze hard, well here it is snowing to-day, and it certainly makes things miserable for us, because we have to go out just the same Im a bomber now so I have to take a course in that, what do you think of that. I got a letter from Josh to-day he is transfered into the 30th Battln, and some of them are over in France allready, but he aint. Im glad to hear that sweetheart is getting over the whooping cough, I would rather her have now than when she gets older, Well I suppose that Xmas and New Year’s are over by the time you receive this, I hope you both enjoy yourself. Ill do my best to enjoy myself over here.  hope that Santa Claus wont forget little sweetheart Ill send you my Western Irish badges when I get to a town that I can register them, you know mailing conditions are not the same here as in Canada. Well Kiddo everything is just the same in the Army so news is very scarce, remember me to everybody and be good and Kiss little Hughina for Daddy

I remain your loving husband
