Mr. J.L. Squire yesterday received a cable from his daughter, Nursing Sister Lieut. Gertrude L. Squire, R.R.C., stating that she had sailed on the steamship “Megantic’' which is bringing over a large number of wounded Canadian soldiers. It is expected the steamer will dock at Halifax on May 31st.
