Dear Mother:

Just a few lines to let you know I am still O.K. and am getting a little nearer home every day. Was transferred into the Sailing Coy last night, and just have to wait now till there is a boat to take us, But seems the sailings are all being cancelled owing to strikes, ectra. Do not look for me home till near the end of May, as will likly spend a couple of days in

Toronto, befor proceeding west, you will be notified when I land likly, and will be home shortly after. Boys are getting pretty restless here, and would not be the least bit surprised if there was some more trouble started here, if they do not move them out as the conditions in the camp are not of the best, and the weather has been simple rotten, snowing and raining

for the last week. But is a rather nice camp here. These are a few views of a village close by, which I visit occassionly when funds will permit.

Well, must fall in for parade. So hoping this finds all in the best of health as it leaves me.

I am
Your loving Son
George
