Dear Mother and Dad,

Well, this is Wednesday again which is the long day. We worked until 6 instead of 5. At 4 oclock we went on a route march out in the country and got back around 6 in time for supper.

It is very hot today and when we got back from the march we were sure ready for a shower. The morse is still coming on O.K. and we are starting to take secret work such as codes ect. We are not allowed to talk about them. All these books are weighted with lead so they will sink when thrown overboard.
