My darling girl

Got your letter of 16th all OK, & am returning Ethel's letter rather a nice letter too, I guess Mother must have misunderstood about Lily. It would be rather nice if you could get hold of a second hand bicycle for Gwladys, as she is learning to ride, she's a little brick, don't think she is troubled much with nerves.

Having a quiet time out here, of course we are not very far from the line.

Today is very wet which is quite a change as we have had a long spell of dry & hot weather so rain is rather pleasant for a change especially as we are fairly comfortable in huts.

Bye the bye girlie send me a packet of Auto Strop razor blades, am getting quite a nuisance arnt I, but I know you love to love to send me out things.

I suppose the kiddies will be getting their holidays soon & you'll all be going to Rhyl, I hope the weather keeps fine. Have you send or heard anything of Jack Lloyd since you got to Mold?. Well darling no more just now. Fondest love to you & the bairns.

Your loving,

Jim
