My Darling:
Received two letters from you to-day and its about time Frank I write to you 3 or 4 times a week so surely you must be getting some of the mail. I know how you must feel dear because I know how low I get when I don’t get my correspondence. well father I just had two men from the legion and from what I gather I’m not going to bet they help, they tell me It has to come from your unit or something they suggested that I write to you is there anyone there you can see or can’t act about it. Its the R.C.A.F. [?] fund I wish you would look into it for me. Darling I miss you such a lot I often wonder how much longer it will be. I had my cards read last nite and my fortune was all about you, so by the way that’s just another 25¢ you owe me. I am afraid Xmas isn’t going to be much this year. Dennis just came home from [?] he was getting his hair cut, and Barbara is getting a permanent to-day, one you do yourself at home. I waxed and scrubbed the floor, and had everything clean I was fore-warned that these men were coming. Well my darling I am going to close for now. Will you see about the baby’s bill for me.
Love & kisses,
Jean.
