Dear Glady’s

Just a few lines to let you know I am well at present but I am still a little choaked up from the gass but I guess it will work off in time at least I hope so. I am in the command depot we get light [?] & keep working up in different classes till we are fit to go to our reserve I am only a little way’s from it I saw a lot of the 162 boy’s over there but they havent run out to France yet so they are a lucky bunch but thier turn is coming

I expect I’ll be in this depot for a couple of months yet so I may not get back to France till spring.

Well Gladys I havent had a letter from you for a long time the one I did get went to France and came back I hope you havent forgot my address Well how is every body at home. Are you still going to school in sundridge. Well it is just fifteen month’s yesturday since I left on my last leave and tomorrow I will be in the army twenty three months so I hope I wont have to put in twenty three more. Well I think I will close hoping to hear from you soon

I remain as Ever.
