Copy of Remarks attached to
Combat Report of Lt. C.E. Robertson &
2/ Lt. D.H. Duncan of April 13, 1917 .

This machine became separated from the Patrol owing to clouds and went over to . . . . . alone,
and dropped bombs on . . . . . ; the machine was then attacked by several hostile machines and was very skillfully brought back to our lines against a strong head wind by the pilot, Lieut. Robertson, who by clever manoeuvers managed to keep off the hostile machines, enable the observer to fire, and save his machine.

I consider that great credit is due to Lieut. Robertson who by cool and clever flying undoubtedly saved his machine and observer.

(sgd) . . . . . Major
Commanding No . . . Squadron, Royal
Flying Corps.
