Letter
April 14, 1944
Very pleased to receive your letter of March 28 today. This is the first I have received for over a month from either England or Canada. The fault seems to lie with the much-vaunted airmail service. It appears that, through fires, crashes and other flying accidents, 600,000 letters have been lost. However, we have been assured that the necessary steps have been taken to correct this state of affairs. -----
