Letter of Congratulations

To Mr. & Mrs. O. J. MacNeil of Millville, Kings Co.

At a meeting held by the members of the

“Old Seven”, in Canada Hut, Aylesford Avenue

on the 11th day of March 1917 AD the following

resolution was unanimously passed.

Whereas happy tidings have reached

us of the birth of a son and heir

to our most esteemed friend Mr. (Expts.) O.J.

MacNeil and his wife.

Resolved that we the undersigned

hereby tender our most hearty congratulations.

Further resolved that we jointly

share the joys of the new found

treasure: trusting that fortune may

be pleased to shine upon him, that he

may grow up to manhood to be a

credit to his parents, a pillar to the

providence and a builder to our “Great

and Glorious Empire.”

Be it further resolved that a copy

of resolution be spread on the minutes

of this meeting and another forwarded

for publication in the “Berwick Register.”
