Wednesday, October 3rd.

It is raining now but I am on three shows tomorrow each lasting one and three-quarters, so I will be going some, eh! Will have to go in spite of the weather! My first patrol is at 6.30 so I must be up at 5.30 and gee it is cold and miserable then.

I think things will slacken up a bit soon as the bad weather is about due, and we are just getting the first of it. I have been feeling very done up every night. Working at great altitudes is quite a strain and most tiring. I was on two patrols two days ago at 20000 ft. and had a splitting head after.
