Dear Mr. Irwin.

Just a line to let you know I shall be with you in the near future.

I have been boarded as unfit & to be discharged to Canada as soon as possible

The Peace celebrations here have been immense everybody frantic with joy & excitement.

What a relief to the parents of the boys serving!!

& what a relief to know the slaughter & suffering are over.  Willie should be treated as he deserves & not allowed to get away light. The soldiers should have the handling of him.

The Canadians finished wonderful. Mons captured at last.

Trust you & yours are enjoying good health.

You have my best wishes & shall now say Au Revoir till we meet once more

Sincerely yours.

Walter T Robus.
